This piece was created for the reknown Afrobeat artist Burna Boy; for his music video “It’s Plenty“.
The brief was to create a piece that paid homage to vintage barbershops in West Africa. As someone from Ghanaian descent, it was joy to be a part of this process - I was able to draw from childhood iconography that I was exposed to when following my dad to his barbershop appointments.

I created a poster for the artist Cindrluv’s design competition. I was fortunate to be shortlisted as one of the 5 runner up’s for this competition.
I was thrilled to be able to contribute to this project! Some important concepts that I wanted to illustrate in this piece was escapism and levity. These themes permeate most of my work, however I felt they truly shone through in this piece.

This piece was created for the Cambridge Arcsoc Art Show held in 2019.
The theme was ‘Unity’ and I wanted to clearly express that through binding the two subject matters together in a symbol of togetherness. Alongside the vibrant colours I hoped to illustrate this theme while also adding a playfulness, which can often be missed in such serious subjects.
This piece is inspired by a whimsical, free-flowing feeling of exploration amist a sea of saturation. I aimed for this piece to represent my feelings of growing up in the social media age.
Amidst the chaos, I experience feelings of freedom and beauty that I know I would not find elsewhere. However, the subject is depicted to be diving: representing my struggles of drowning amongst the flow of information around me.
This is a series that is dear to my heart. I started this series during the first lockdown of Covid 19 - mainly posting to my Tiktok and Youtube channels.
The inspiration for this series was a growing dissatisfaction from fans at live action adaptations to anime and other animated media - which they didn’t think truthly represented the source material. Therefore I created several adaptations to popular characters.
The response (especially on tiktok) had been amazing and overwhelmingly positive. It felt very humbling to be acknowledged by so many fans around the world - and to grow a community around this topic.

This piece was created as a submission to Skyloftwing’s fantasy character design competition. Based on her base design guidelines I created this Elven character Vitiligo. This submission was placed as a runner up for the competition.
